One of the most common phrases I hear every day is when a new client comes into my store is "Oh, no smell of here" or "I can smell clean laundry." To be honest it's like all the costume shops should be. First impressions are vitally important to gain the trust of a person. Why would a customer want to stay in the store, does not really matter to address some of the costumes. Would you like to put his dirty cocktail dresses and smelly? I think not!
In Habits n Props to even wash the plussize wedding dresses that a client has tried and has made the lipstick or a bad smell in the locker room. We will not allow any outfit with a bad body odor or the smell of smoke to stay in the store after returning from a party for fear of making the unpleasant odor store. Are we paranoid about it? Well, yes we are, but our store smell? A resounding NO!
